Every single day I come home I’m just amazed at how much money this thing is making me. To be honest with everyone, I had serious doubts this would work and that’s the main reason I funded the account with only $500.

Since I started this blog on April 7th, Forex MegaDroid has more than doubled my original account balance. I’m not the only one either, I’ve received multiple emails from followers of this blog and fellow megadroiders (I’m the first one with this term, you read it here first!) who have more than quadrupled their starting funds.

Just discovered one interesting thing: Forex MegaDroid employs a “stealth mode”, which makes it absolutely invisible for brokers. Therefore, brokers cannot even tell the trades were placed by a robot, not to mention determining which robot it was. As a result, you can safely use MegaDroid with ODL and other brokers that do not favor scalpers and openly state so on their sites.

I was asleep on my couch near my computers and an alarm went off on one of my charts at about 4am here in Australia so i sat and watched a nice trade set up and then switched the Droid on and made $105.16 in my GoMarkets Live Standard Account in 3 minutes and $20.97 in my IKOfx Live Mini Account in 4 minutes, not a bad start to my day.

Despite the annoying marketing hype of the sales page I am quite happy with the MegaDroid as a system, and still feel comfortable recommending it. If you were trying to decide between MegaDroid or FAP Turbo, I would absolutely recommend that you go with MegaDroid. It has great performance without the broker issues that have arisen for FAP Turbo.

I just purchased this EA and started on Monday, April 6. I am using three accounts: Forex.com, IBFX and FXCM. Here is a break down for this week:

Forex.com – 9 trades won, 0 lost, +93 pips
IBFX – 6 trades won, 0 lost, +59 pips
FXCM – 2 trades won, 0 lost, +12 pips

I usually get 2-3 trades per account a day. So far I like the way the EA is handling trades. We will see what this EA brings in the future. The FXCM account was started this week, so only traded one day. No trading on Thursday, due to holiday and all.

I will have to say though, this EA using the EUR/USD with lower spreads is so much better than fighting spreads with Fap Turbo.

Just my 2 cents. Time will tell.

Likely its highly optimised for current market conditions, but anyway at first glance not a disaster – just don’t expect to get rich overnight (if ever!) esp. if market dynamics change.

At 90% modelling using H1 data from IBFX live data – mini a/c server 4 – year to date 1 Jan to April 03 I get backtest results as follows:

Tested with EA default settings on a starting balance of $3000

Total trades = 73
Profit factor 4.1
Max drawdown $15
Gross profit = $63.75
Gross loss = $-15.53
Profitable trades = 94.52%
Average wins to loss ratio 23:1

So YMMV but compared to some commercial EAs out there this is reasonable. Personally I’d rather an EA took fewer trades with higher sucess rate than jumps in with all it has and you see 50% account drawdowns or worse: margin calls. If you want the profits + pain then just trade martingale systems 24×7 and start praying!

Also, last night I got a New Update e-mail from the support saying that the robot would not trade on Fridays but on the 4x.com platform, it DID trade on Friday at about 00:23 GMT which ended up with a $120 profit. So, I immediately opened a ticket at support website reporting what had just happened. I will soon check what their answer is.

George, If it runs only on the MetaTrader4 platfrom, it is no good to me as I won’t change my broker.
Additionally, I see that it works in auto on just the Euro/USD pair.
It now appears that Forex MegaDroid has far too many limitations for my requirements, so I’ll pass on the offer.

It’s a pity this is information is not advised in the promotional literature prior to order. If the limitations were explained beforehand, you probably would not be receiving so many calls from confused customers. It also explains why so many users are not getting very regular trades.
I think this should have been touted as a Beta version until it could cope with all the major pairs and on as secetion of good platforms.

There are many reasons why a robot does not trade immediately. Sometimes it is watching the market and may not trade because the market is too volatile. If it does not trade for a week, then get worried.

In the meantime check the following: Is the little green light lit at the top of the MetaTrader screen? or is it red? If it is red, press the button and turn it to green. There should be a smiley face in the upper right hand corner of your chart. If the smiley face is frowning, you have done something wrong.

Make sure you have down loaded the .dll library and placed it in the proper folder. Left click on the smiley face and bring up the properties window. In the common tab check and make sure you have activated all the little squares properly.

Some robots require a key number to be typed in the bottom of one of the properties window. If you are running more than one robot, make sure each robot has its own magic number entered in the properties window.

I am starting to suspect that there is a programming error in MegaDroid related to the AutoGmtOffset feature. Based on my own programming experience, I am starting to thing that there is an error passing the correct value of the GmtOffset on to some parameter calculation – which would subsequently mess up entry calculations.

My advice is this. Start with AutoGmtOffset=true and notice what the value is. Then, go back into your settings, and manually enter the value into the “GmtOffset” settings, and also change “AutoGmtOffset=false”. If we still aren’t getting trades then the developers might have some explaining to do.

MegaDroid doesn’t trade that much, so it isn’t a big deal that it is NOT trading, the problem is that some people are getting trades and others are not – which makes it confusing for us to determine what the true behavior of the EA ought to be.

Hopefully we will get some FAQs from the MegaDroid development team over the weekend.

MegaDroid opened one trade and just closed it with a whopping $378.00 profit!

I truly hope this robot will be the one I’ve been looking for to help me achieve my finatial freedom!

With robots I’ve used in the past it’s not uncommon for them to sit for days before they make a trade. Basically they are sitting there waiting for the best time to enter the market. You are much better off with a robot that enters the market at the right time – even if it takes a few days – rather than one that enters straight away. It’s all about identifying the trend.
- Finally, although it’s your choice, remember you have a full 60 days to test this product out. So, even if you don’t hear back from them straight away, and aren’t comfortable using the robot in the mean time, you’ve still got a lot of days left with which to test the product.

Yesterday at 22:09 it opened a sell of EURUSD at 1.3248 and closed it at 1.3238 at 22:46. I’m only playing with .01 lots so I made a whopping $1 profit.

All quiet since then.

I purchased Forex Megadroid on the 31st of March. Havent’ had any trades so far!!! According to support team this is normal. DID ANYONE OF YOU HAD ANY TRADES SO FAR? PRFITABLE?

ONE IMPORTANT THING: IT ONLY TRADES DURING ASIAN SESSION around 22 p.m. GMT for one or two hours only. It changes then from “waiting” to “running”. Do you agree? Watch it during these times… So it is very very similar to fapturbo regarding trading hours times (I think 2 hours is the maximum or even only one hour). I have the similar times in my backtest which is really good by the way (fxpro)

They dont seem to offer their test results, only their claims. I suggest we forward test and make our own analysis and decisions, we do have 60 days to work in.

So far the backtesting results posted here are unpromising, but the risk to test is small, $97 with 60 day ClickBank guarantee. I’ve never had any problem getting reimbursed from Clickbank, I find them trustworthy.

The .dll file goes in the libraries folder, metatrader/experts/library

It appears set for a 4 decimal platform, thats why you are getting the spread errors. At this point there doesnt seem to be any way around this problem. Obviously, the developers missed this point. Perhaps a bit of a rush to market ($$$). Generally vr 1.00’s are fraught with problems.

This is dead new, as are the team offering it, so we will quickly see where they stand on support, and debugging their product. I would prefer to withhold any criticisms untill a fair testing has been done. Right now gathering facts and evidence is paramount.

So far I’ve only seen one trade, 10 pip win, FPA shows 2 from the day earlier, both wins. This is not a frequent trader, but I will be very interested to see of it can maintain a 90% success rate going forward.

For those backtesting now, in addition to determining overall profitability and optimizations, I think it is of paramount importance to determine and analyze the two trading strategies this robot supposedly contains. Both the different trading styles and associated risk levels, (ie, stops and frequency of loss), as well as its ability to adapt to market changes, and change strategy without undue losses.

For me, it’s been one whole trade, and one loss so far. I’ve got mine set to do a bit of a martingale with the next trade, as it seldoms loses twice or more then 3 times in a row. So, not a bother. Just wish it would trade more times in a day. At least it wasn’t -300 pips or anything like that. I lost -41 pips on the trade. Nothing too hard to recover from…lol.

Well, this is a very interesting robot. It doesn’t make too many trades but it has a very high win/loss ratio. In a 3 year back test it made only 34 trades of which only 1 trade was a loser. Max. drawdown was 27 %. The result of a 3 year back test was extremely positive. The robot turned $ 1,000 into $ 30,000 in 3 years. This is phenomenal return on the money. I believe this robot can produce outstanding results as advertised. I think the trick is finding the optimized parameters. I will continue to test with different parameters but I feel this robot gets my 10 thumbs up.

Well traders, I’m starting to like this MegaDroid. I’ve had 6 successful trades so far, 1 is currently in drawdown. FYI, I’m using Alpari U.S.

The manual says it trades at random times, but I got my first trade during the Asian session and then they came in rapid succession. So far, so good.

I bought this Indicator and starting from Jan 1st to Mar 31 I had over 40 Trades with 1 Loss. The Accuracy of this Robot is Incredible but there is one small problem. It doesnt trade very often and doesnt produce tons of cash as they state, unless you have a large account. Im estimating at least a 40% Return by the end of the year.

When I ran the simulation It didnt start making trade till about Mid Feb and only did so once every day or two. It does Double up on lot sizes and orders as either the account grows or Win ratios increase. Its a Darn Good Bot, but with my $500 – $1000 Account, I wont be Retiring for about another 150 Years from now using this.

They also claim it can see into the Future. Well, It sure does miss out on Profitable Trends which are easy to spot. And it only trades One Market EURUSD on the 1 Hour. Thats not good. If this baby worked on all the majors or heck, even 20 of the markets out there THEN it would be a safe Cash Making machine!!!!

I purchase this product but it will not run the dll file. I filed a support ticket and received a fairly quick response with a suggestion that did not solve the problem. I updated my support ticket to inform support that the problem was not solved and have received no response back in over 24 hours.

I then sent an email to support to ask them to take a look at my support ticket again and respond, but I received only an automated response that my request was denied because only one support ticket can be opened at a time. That would have been OK, but about every 1 to 3 minutes I receive another autoreply email denying the request.

I am now close to 100 autoreply emails. I do not dare try to send another email to support or I may start getting 2 autoreply emails every 1 to 3 minutes. With the other comments from users about the poor backtest performance of this expert, and my experience with support, I suspect Clickbank will be hearing from me for a refund.

I just bought the robot today. I have it set up on 3 demo’s
Alpari – Interbank fx – Meta Trader. No trades yet on my 3 demo’s

This is the only 2nd robot that I have ever bought. The first one was FapTurbo.

FapTurbo is ok but just hoping that Megadroid is a lot better.

I thought Megadroid was a very easy set up. They really did a nice explaining the set up. A very detailed PDF

My question is will this robot ever work with more then just 1 currency?

As with most new forex products on the market, this one seems to be over hyped, but the strategy itself appears to have some merit based on my very preliminary back testing. My advice would be that you are probably safe giving this one a try, but if this robot doesn’t return at least 10% by the end of June, you should probably ask for a refund.

By claiming it gives 300% per year, that is a high expectation to give people – so again – if it doesn’t return 10% per quarter – send it back.
